About Map Your Mid City

The Mid City East Initiative is Small Area Plan and Livability Study, with a community led planning process. If you live in or care about the communities of LeDroit Park, Bloomingdale, Eckington, Truxton Circle, Bates-Hanover and Sursum Corda, the Office of Planning (OP) and District Department of Transportation (DDOT) invite you to map where you LIVE, WORK, PLAY Outdoors and CHILL Indoors. We also invite you to map the ways you get around Mid City East by letting us know where you BIKE, WALK, RIDE Transit and DRIVE. Mapping your places and routes will help us as we strive to improve mobility, enhance commercial corridors, promote safety, preserve historic resources, green infrastructure, and cultivate development opportunities.
